32 slots, Bf2 Ranked Server.

Once we get our server going I will need some help on the rules... So If any of you have any ideas let me know please.

we should rele do a 24/7 type thing for ex
week1 Karkand
week2 Wake
week3 jalalbad
etc etc etc...

as one clan has put it.
there are no rules, THIS IS WAR.
But if we need rulez, then
1 No arty on the uncaps.
2 No raping uncaps. (Specs do job and get out)
3 No shit talking.
4 respect all admin, and everyone else.
5 There is a ine for jet/heli's
6 No intentional TK'S

Yeah, but there should be a minor stipulation to that.

If Spec Ops are fired on while DOING their job, they have the right to shoot back. They can NOT fire the first shot though.

LOL I like that there is no rules in war. But we still want the players to have fun so we don't need a lot of rules. I think what you just posted there Toasties is perfect I will just add one more to the rules and that would be no recruiting.

Special_K, I also like the one map a week thing I will keep that in mind.

Cool I'm glad some of you posted in here. Also if any of you have any other ideas about how we can run a successful server post in here.

What do you mean by jets/helis have a line?
like if you mean stuff like no Jets past arty island
than give a good rule in there

just for the sake of it .....what is the cost for a server a month?

we could do it its just people do not apply themselves a simple 5$ a month from the active ppl and you can have a server....

For a BF2 ranked server it's $1.49 a slot. So a 32 Slot on BF2 Ranked would be $47.95 a month so yes the cost has gone down. I do think we could do it and make it work. However active ppl do not want to help out on the cost.

now hold on....i offered to help pay on the last one but no one wanted to play much, if i thought you guys who dont play bf2 any more would play ,i think i could handle pitching in ,but even if we did ..how long will that last ,its already been proven that it gets boring to some, and with WOW out there i dont see us getting a bf2 server.

It would be cool to have a bf2 sever. But there is no way I would open one in till we have about 15 active admins. I just don't see that happening any time soon. On a side note, me and Cary, have played some COD Word at War zombie mode and it is vary fun. I don't have BF2 on my comp. And I have lost my BF2 copy I do however have my key for it just no disc.

yeah with the economy like it is most ppl arent playing games there trying to find jobs or are constantly working so finding members is hard enough active members is near impossible


i would love to be the head of blizzard i would fucking knock everyone back to lvl1 wipe every fucking thing out because i would be publicized so much and probably shot lmfao

By shutting down Blizzard, you would not only piss america off. But China, all the gold farmers would be out of work.

We already know that running a server (and expect it to be successful) takes alot of effort and time. That of which im not willing to put into BF2. I still have it installed, but i cant play for an extended amount of time like i use to.

As Smacks was telling everyone, CoD WaW zombie mode is pretty fun.

Kix, get off your high horse and try WoW. I will forever haunt you until you at least put forth the effort of the 10 day trial. If you actually "try" for the ten days and still dont want to play it, then fair play to the queen i will leave you be.
